One may not go to a friend's house before morning prayers, even if one only plans on wishing them a "good morning".
If one happens to meet a friend before one has prayed, one should not use the standard greeting, e.g. "Good Morning", as a reminder to oneself not to get distracted before prayers.

אָסוּר לְהַקְדִּים לְפֶתַח חֲבֵרוֹ לְקַבֵּל פָּנָיו וְלִתֵּן לוֹ שָׁלוֹם, וַאֲפִלּוּ לוֹמַר לוֹ צַפְרָא דְּמָרָא טָב (בל"א, גוּטֶען מָארְגֶען), שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר, חִדְלוּ לָכֶם מִן הָאָדָם אֲשֶׁר נְשָׁמָה בְּאַפּוֹ כִּי בַמֶּה נֶחְשָׁב הוּא. כְּלוֹמַר, בַּמֶּה חֲשַׁבְתּוֹ לָזֶה שֶׁהִקְדַּמְתָּ כְּבוֹדוֹ לִכְבוֹדִי
