This week we read the Parsha of מַּטּוֹת and מַסְעֵי. Parshat מַסְעֵי begins by listing the 42 encampments the wandering Jews had during their 40 years in the desert.
All 42 encampments should be read together during the same "Aliya".

After the last Aliya, the congregation says "חֲזַק חֲזַק וְנִתְחַזַּק" in honor of finishing the 4th Chumash - בְּמִדְבַּר.
The Haftarah this week is שִׁמְעוּ - from the 2nd chapter of יִרְמְיָהוּ.
This week is Shabbat Mevarchim Chodesh Menachem-Av, with Rosh Chodesh Av being on Monday.

בִֹּשְלֹשֶׁת הַשַׁבָּתוֹת שֶׁבֵּין שִׁבְעָה עָשָׂר בְּתַמּוּז לְתִשְׁעָה בְּאָב, מַפְטִירִין גּ' דְּפֻרְעָנוּתָא, שֶׁהֵן, דִּבְרֵי יִרְמִיָּהוּ, שִׁמְעוּ דְּבַר ה', חֲזוֹן יְשַׁעְיָהוּ, וְסִימָנָם דש"ח. וְאִם טָעָה וְקָרָא בַּשַׁבָּת הָרִאשׁוֹנָה אֶת הַהַפְטָרָה שֶׁל פָּרָשָׁה דְּיוֹמָא, מַפְטִירִין בַּשַׁבָּת הַבָּאָה, דִּבְרֵי יִרְמִיָּהוּ וְגַם, שִׁמְעוּ, מִפְּנֵי שֶׁהֵן סְמוּכוֹת זוֹ לָזוֹ
